Cập nhật mới nhật những chính sách định cư tại tỉnh bang British Columbia

Trước sự ảnh hưởng của dịch COVID-19 đến thị trường lao động, chính quyền tỉnh bang British Columbia đã có những điều chỉnh lớn trong việc cấp thư mời cho các nhóm ngành cho chương trình Đề cử của Tỉnh bang. Cụ thể là sẽ có 29 nhóm ngành khoa học công nghệ được bổ sung vào danh sách và 31 nhóm ngành sẽ tạm ngừng được cấp thư mời.

1/ 29 ngành nghề khoa học công nghệ đang thiếu hụt lao động:

Trước sự phát triển bùng nổ của công nghệ và các ứng dụng thì sự thiếu hụt nhu cầu lao động trong lĩnh vực này là điều đã được dự báo từ trước và tỉnh bang BC cũng không nằm ngoài xu hướng đó. Dưới đây là 29 ngành nghề trong lĩnh vực công nghệ đang thiếu hụt lao động tại đây:

2/ Loại trừ 31 nghề nghiệp khỏi danh sách cấp lời mời:

Vào ngày 30 tháng 3 năm 2020, Chương trình Đề cử Tỉnh BC (BC PNP) đã tạm ngừng cấp thư mời nộp đơn (ITA) cho các cá nhân trong 31 ngành nghề du lịch, khách sạn, bán lẻ và dịch vụ cá nhân. Biện pháp tạm thời này nhằm đối phó với tình trạng thất nghiệp lan rộng trong các lĩnh vực này do đại dịch COVID-19. Theo dự báo nhu cầu lao động của những ngành này sẽ giảm 70% trong thời gian còn lại của năm 2020.

Các nghề nghiệp bị loại trừ khỏi thư mời nộp đơn, theo mã Phân loại Nghề nghiệp Quốc gia (NOC):
